Demetrius was born in Templeton, CA and has several family members in military service.  His family is located all throughout the United States, however, home & heart for Demetrius is in Colorado Springs, CO. In his free time, you will often find Demetrius exploring the many wonders of Colorado to include the great outdoors and the many food experiences. His grandfather, father, and brother are all military veterans, which fuels his drive for giving back to those that serve and protect.

After graduating from the Career Readiness Academy in Colorado Springs, CO, Demetrius ventured to Pueblo, CO to complete his Bachelors in Sociology from Colorado State University Pueblo. He has a background in higher education services and nonprofit development. Early in his nonprofit career, he has volunteered and/or worked for several organizations increasing donor/ volunteer retention, establishing fundraising principles, and supporting organizational operations across the board. He started his own small business and nonprofit consulting business in March 2021 supporting various areas such as operations, marketing, development and grant writing. Demetrius brings a wealth of management knowledge and experience.
